The state reference
Focus any enabled field to inspect its ring. Hover keeps the resting contour. Invalid fields retain an error border on focus; readonly values remain selectable and submitted.
Modal variant — secondary reference
The primary config-wizard fields above are the baseline. These modal fields are a separate variant. Primary wizard fields use a 14px radius and source-aligned 50% focus halo. Add Device modal fields use a 10px radius and the 20% modal focus halo. Both retain one border and a 2px focus halo on the wizard surface theme.
10px radius · modal focus halo
Three rows · 10px radius · resizing disabled, as in Add Device
Compare with the actual wizard
Original wizard captures show its blue/translucent backdrop. The standard follows those page/card surfaces with explicit field contrast refinements; these captures establish the source, not a pixel-identical page layout.

What carries over
Field geometry comes from the actual WSDMM wizard. The primary resizable textarea, disabled and readonly treatment are explicit standard extensions. Resting contours and primary focus colors follow the accepted source-aligned rules; original source values remain in the audit evidence.
